I was lucky enough to be able to test the The Karcher WV1 Window
Vac and I must say on unboxing the vac it feels well put together, and is lightweight
enough not to be a hassle when using it for a period of time. The WV1 was tested
over several average sized windows as well as on my car windows.
There are a couple of steps beforehand to go through before
actually using the vac. The first thing you do is spray your windows with the
cleaner of your choice, then the next step is to quickly wipe the window with a
cloth to agitate the dirt. Then its on
to using Your WV1. You simply run the squeegee over the windows and the water
is sucked up, leaving your windows effortlessly streak free. The dirty water is
collected in the little see through tank which is attached to the vacuum. This
gives you a good view on how much dirty water has been sucked up.
I also used the vac to clean my car windows and again the
WV1 preformed really well, especially on the inside of the front windscreen
which can be hard to reach. This is where it really helped to gain a quick and
easy streak free finish. The karcher vac is also suitable for other duties such
as tiles, shower screens and just generally on most smooth
household surfaces.
Overall The karcher WV1 is a very well
made product, that made easy work of cleaning various windows. It has a run
time of 20 minutes from full charge, and takes just 90 minutes to fully recharge.
Also importantly the WV1 is not just suitable for windows but able to be used for
multiple tasks around the house and car etc.
