The RING RVAC2 model is a Rechargeable
cordless vacuum cleaner and as expected from Ring it feels sturdy and well put
together. The product was tested on a car interior that had not been cleaned
for a couple or so weeks, and to be fair it handled pretty well. The motorised
brush made good work of picking up the general day to day dirt that’s left behind
on the carpets and mats.
The RVAC2 comes supplied with a four
piece accessories set which helps with access to all those hard to reach areas,
as well as a built in LED light so you can see where needs cleaning in those hidden
places. What helps make this more versatile is it being cordless, so no more
having to plug into a 12V supply and having loads of power lead stretched out.
This ease of use helps allow the Ring vacuum cleaner to be used in other areas
such as your caravan, in the home or even giving the shed floor its yearly
spring clean.
The rechargeable Li-Ion Battery provides
a run time of about 15 minutes and has a two speed power option. During using, you
do seem to need to use the highest position the most, as the suction is not
enough on the lower settings. Ideally for some heavy duty vacuuming it could do
with more pick up power, but in most cases it does the job. Also when full the
RVAC2 is very simple to empty.
Overall a worthy cordless vacuum cleaner,
that comes with plenty of attachments plus a charging stand. If you are in the
market for a cleaner, then this might be just what you are looking for.
