At Carblogger we have fitted
a set of Xenon HID D3S bulbs from Ring Automotive to our Range Rover Evoque. For
those of you without HIDs on your current vehicle, they are really worth factoring
in when looking to purchasing a new car as you will see further on in this
review.
The HIDs from Ring performed
really well on our vehicle. We tested them on dipped beam. They provided a good
even pattern of light with no dark patches. The visibility on the road was way
ahead compared to that of a standard halogen bulb. This make a big difference
for safer night driving due to the increased range of light being emitted. Not
only can you see better, but other motorists, cyclists or pedestrians can also spot
you much easier.
Just something to consider,
because HIDs run on a higher voltage than conventional bulbs, combined with the
limited room in the engine bay on modern car in which to change bulbs. It might
be worth considering having a garage change your bulbs if using HIDs.
Overall the Ring Automotive
HIDs were a great standard replacement bulb, that provided an excellent range
of light matching the originals equally. If you are looking for some
replacement HIDs, then the ones from Ring automotive should be considered, especially
as they come with a 3 Year Guarantee
