The NextBase 112 is a compact entry level dash cam, but comes with some new features over the previous generations. One of them I particularly like is the simplicity of the Click & Go Powered Magnetic Mount, this uses magnets and powered touch points to allow the camera to be free from wires. This allows installing and removal of the dash cam very easy and with its compact design you to be able to position it virtually anywhere on the windscreen.
The Nextbase 112 has a 2” LED screen with accessible buttons to view the menu and adjust the camera’s settings. Although its an entry level model, it has all the needed functions required. The loop-recording feature, prevents your recordings from stopping once the SD card is full. The Footage is recorded in 720p HD resolution and records at 30 frames per second with 120-degee viewing angle. In daylight it provides good quality recordings, although in poorer light conditions, there is a little drop in quality but still adequate. Considering where this model is pitched in the market range, this should not put of any potential buyers.
