With the holiday season
starting, it will be time to dust down the caravan/trailer and begin our towing
adventures. What is an essential piece of equipment, is a good quality Towing Mirror.
I have been testing the RCT1440 from Ring Automotive. First thing that’s noticed
is how simple it is attaching it to the vehicle, just two adjustable clamps gets
you a good sturdy fixing to the main car mirror.
During testing the Towing mirror
performed very well indeed at various speeds and road conditions. There was
very little vibration and rearward visibility is good especially with having dual
angles flat convex lenses. When is comes
to removal this is also equally simple, just a few turns of the adjustable
clamps and the whole unit is released.
Overall this is a well made towing
mirror from Ring automotive, that once attached feels safe and secure and does
a worthy job on improving rear visibility. If you are looking for a towing mirror,
then the Ring RCT1440 should definitely be one to consider.
